100 Years of Television
Open House at Dupont Circle – Friday, June 13th
📍 1519 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20036 (above Kramerbooks)

Join Us in Celebrating a Historic Milestone
We’re thrilled to invite you to a special open house at the historic Charles Jenkins Laboratories, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the first public demonstration of television—an iconic moment that happened right here in Dupont Circle.
As you explore the building, you’ll see original photographs of Charles Francis Jenkins and his team at work in this very space. You’ll also have the rare opportunity to step into the rooms where Jenkins’ pioneering efforts helped launch a new era in media. While these rooms now serve as modern offices, the current tenants have generously allowed us to open them to the public for this one-day-only experience.

Event Schedule:
• Guest List Only: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (RSVP Required)
• Open to the General Public: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Location: 1519 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20036 (above Kramerbooks)

Keep the Celebration Going
After the open house, feel free to continue the conversation downstairs at Kramerbooks’ bar and cocktail room, open to all attendees.

We would be so happy if you could join us—and we can’t wait to welcome you to this historic space.

Please note: The event will be invitation-only for the first two hours. After that, the Jenkins offices will open to the general public.
A guest list will be checked at the entrance, so all attendees must be listed in advance to gain entry.
Kindly share this open invitation with all of your team — we’d love to have everyone join us. Also, please confirm whether you’ll be able to attend personally.
